Farmers Block Main Highway in Ararat Province

Earlier today, residents of several villages in the administrative area of Little Vedi on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway blocked the road in protest.

According to shamshyan.com, the farmers closed the road due to issues related to grape collection. Police, upon hearing the farmers' concerns, informed the regional administration, which promised to address the issue. Subsequently, the protest participants, believing the traffic police, reopened the road, stating that if the regional administration and the government do not resolve their issues, they will block the road for a longer time next.
