Names of the Prisoners of War Returning to Armenia Revealed
The names of the two Armenian prisoners of war returning from Baku to Yerevan have been announced. According to Sputnik Armenia, Artur Nalbandyan and Aramais Torozyan are set to return to Armenia.
We recently reported that two prisoners are returning from Baku to Yerevan. To facilitate their repatriation, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, traveled to Azerbaijan.
According to reports, the military aircraft transporting the prisoners has already departed from Baku and is expected to land at ‘Erebuni’ Airport soon.
It is noteworthy that in exchange for the two Armenian prisoners, Yerevan has handed over Jamil Babaev, an Azerbaijani serviceman detained in Artsakh, who illegally crossed the border on August 25 and entered one of the houses in the Martakert region of Artsakh.
Incidentally, the two returning prisoners were among those soldiers reported missing on July 14 from the area around Lake Sevan. That day, information surfaced regarding the disappearance of two Armenian servicemen in the vicinity of Lake Sevan in the Syunik province, a report that was later confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
