Nikol Pashinyan Will Choose Alen Simonian, Hayk Sargsyan Will Be Removed: Aghazaryan

Hayk Sargsyan will either leave the ranks of the Civil Contract party on Friday during the selection meeting of the board or after the meeting, as his vivid imaginative ideas have positively turned into a fight against windmills. This was stated by MP Hovik Aghazaryan during a conversation with reporters.

“There is a completely different logic placed in the CP, and according to that logic, people like him have no place there. He had honest insights, of course, I have talked to him, expressed some disagreements regarding his proposals, but he had honest motivations. Alen Simonian also expressed his disagreement with Hayk Sargsyan's viewpoints, but Simonian takes the debate with Sargsyan to a different level now. Either he will be removed, or he will leave the party,” Aghazaryan said.

He noted that he is not aware of the details of the lawmakers' dispute: “I can only say that Hayk Sargsyan is a political figure with a face, but now in the CP, there should not be a person with a face, there should be standard personalities drawn by Nikol Pashinyan.” According to Aghazaryan, when making a choice, Pashinyan will choose Alen Simonian, while Hayk Sargsyan will depart: “Who wouldn’t want to have such an obedient person as the Speaker of the National Assembly? He does not understand who he is, but he is obedient, blindly serving one person. Nikol Pashinyan knows that Alen Simonian does not serve him, but appreciates his 'divine greatness', and that is Alen Simonian's merit, showing that kind of position.”
