Expect Short-term Rain and Thunderstorms: Weather in Armenia

On September 17, 18 evening, and overnight on the 19th, as well as on the 20th and 21st in certain regions, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected across the territory of the Republic of Armenia. For the majority of regions during the day of the 19th, thunderstorms may accompany wind gusts at a speed of 15-17 m/s, and hail is also possible. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

The air temperature will decrease by 4-5 degrees during the day on September 19.

In the city of Yerevan, there may also be short-term rain and thunderstorms in certain areas on the evenings of September 17 and 18. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected on September 19, while the weather is forecasted to be dry on the 20th and 21st. Wind gusts during thunderstorms are expected to reach 15-17 m/s.

On September 17, the daytime temperature in the capital will reach 25-27 degrees, dropping to +20...+22 degrees in the evening.
