EU Unable to Convince Turkey to Abandon Imports of Russian Natural Resources

The European Union is unable to convince Turkey to abandon the import of Russian natural resources, following U.S. President Donald Trump's corresponding call to NATO and EU countries. This was reported by Politico.

“Brussels can do little to force Turkey, a non-EU member, to change its position,” the publication noted.

Earlier, Trump stated that he was ready to impose tough sanctions on Moscow if NATO countries joined Washington's initiative and refrained from importing Russian oil.
