Zelensky Makes Bold Statement Ahead of Meeting with Trump

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has accused the West of insufficient financial support for Ukraine ahead of his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. He made this statement on his Telegram channel.

“To be strong, we need the support of the world—Europe and the United States. And that means anti-air defense, which is currently inadequate, and weapons, which are currently insufficient,” the post reads.

Zelensky also reiterated his plea for resources, complaining about their lack. Trump is scheduled to meet with Zelensky today in Florida. On Friday, he praised the chances of reaching an agreement with the leader of Kyiv. At the same time, the White House resident stated that Kyiv's proposals for a settlement in Ukraine are meaningless without his approval.
