Turkey Will Play an Important Role in Organizing Meeting Between Putin and Zelensky: Ambassador

Russian Ambassador to Turkey Alexey Erkhov expressed hope that it would be possible to organize a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky. He noted that for this to happen, both sides need to prepare a relevant agenda.

Erkhov emphasized that Russia is ready for negotiations, but such a meeting cannot take place without prior preparation. He also mentioned that Turkey could play a significant role in organizing this meeting.

In an interview, Erkhov shared his impressions of working in Turkey, stating that his time here has been an important phase in his diplomatic career. He emphasized that he is leaving part of his heart in Turkey.
