Tension in the frontline, congestion reported: Ashan village head

The situation in the village is currently calm, with no gunfire reported. There is an overall blockade in place, and we cannot reach Stepanakert as the roads are closed; however, there is communication with neighboring villages, and there are no issues on the roads.

This was stated today by Armen Balasanyan, the head of the Ashan community, in an interview with MediaHub.

“There is tension in the frontline, and there are congestion issues,” he noted.

It should be mentioned that several communities in Artsakh have found themselves under total blockage, with Azerbaijani armed units present on adjacent roads and heights. For the past two days, they have not opened fire or attacked, but people are unable to move towards Stepanakert and are currently waiting.

Negotiations are underway with Russian peacekeepers to ensure security.
