Armenia Among Top Wine Exporters to Russia

Armenia has ranked among the top wine exporters to Russia in the first half of 2025. According to reports from RIA Novosti, citing data from national statistical services, Armenia has secured the 10th position, supplying wine worth $4.3 million to the Russian market.

The largest exporter remains Italy, although its supplies have decreased by more than one third to $83.3 million. Georgia stands in second place with $72.8 million, while Latvia completes the top three with $47.7 million.

Overall, Russia has reduced its foreign wine imports by one third during the specified period. Foreign suppliers have sold $304.5 million worth of wine to the Russian market, compared to $433.8 million during the same period last year.
