Massive Oil Discovery in Kuwait
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced on Sunday that a "massive" quantity of oil has been discovered at the Al Nohta site, located east of Failaka Island, Kuwait. The reserves are estimated to be 3.2 billion barrels, according to a report by Reuters.
KPC's CEO Sheikh Nawaf Saud Nasir Al Sabah mentioned in a video released on the company's X platform that the reserves at the site are equivalent to the entire extraction value for the country over three years.
