Illegal Entrepreneurial Income Amounts to Nearly 24 Million AMD: SSC

From June 1-30, the Tax and Customs Authority’s Investigation and Operational Intelligence Department conducted a series of complex operational and intelligence measures aimed at preventing, disrupting, and revealing tax violations. As a result, 34 cases were registered for the transportation or supply of goods in violation of the Armenian Tax Code, totaling 9,202,456 AMD without the issuance of the corresponding accounting documents.

The potential fine amount is 50,269,000 AMD. Furthermore, 24 protocols were drawn up regarding illegal activities, with the amount of illegal entrepreneurial income totaling 24,212,900 AMD. The potential fine for these cases amounts to 14,493,536 AMD.

In addition, 12 cases were documented regarding violations related to conducting activities subject to licensing or notification without a license or notification, or using natural resources without permission or licensing. The total amount of registered violations is 15,245,000 AMD.
