Trump Mistakenly Confuses Armenia with Albania Again
During an interview with Fox News, US President Donald Trump mistakenly confused Armenia with Albania. "I have ended the wars that were considered unsolvable. Azerbaijan and Albania. It has lasted many, many years," Trump stated.
In early August 2025, following a meeting in Washington between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US and Azerbaijani Presidents Donald Trump and Ilham Aliyev, a declaration was accepted regarding the preliminary signing of an agreed text for the establishment of peace and inter-state relations between the two countries. Yerevan also agreed to cooperate with the US and third parties to create the 'Trump Path' project linking Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan autonomy with Armenia.
