Trump-Modi Talks to Unveil Huge Potential for Bilateral Cooperation
US President Donald Trump has announced that negotiations to eliminate trade barriers between the US and India are ongoing. The US President also expressed optimism about the upcoming conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I am pleased to announce that India and the US are continuing negotiations aimed at eliminating trade barriers between our countries. I eagerly look forward to my conversation with my good friend, Prime Minister Modi, in the coming weeks. I am confident that for our two great nations, we will easily reach a successful resolution,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Shortly thereafter, Indian Prime Minister Modi shared his remarks on his X page. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the ongoing trade talks would reveal significant potential for bilateral cooperation.
“India and the US are close friends and natural partners. I am convinced that our trade negotiations will pave the way for uncovering the unlimited potential of the partnership between India and the US. Our teams are working to conclude these discussions as soon as possible. I too eagerly await my conversation with President Trump. Together, we will work to ensure a brighter and more prosperous future for our peoples,” Modi stated.
