Claims of 150 Million Dram Waste Are False and Misleading, Says Yerevan Municipality

The press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor, Haik Kostanyan, has issued a statement regarding claims made by the "Mother Armenia" faction of the city council. He stated, "The allegations circulated recently about the municipality allegedly wasting 150 million drams on the renovation of the meeting hall are completely untrue.

The funds allocated for the renovation of the meeting hall are clearly specified in contractual documents and amount to 97,858,600 drams. Therefore, the claims of '150 million dram waste' are not only false but also intentionally misleading," the statement added.
