OEK Denies Authenticity of Statement Attributed to Arthur Baghdasaryan
The statement attributed to Arthur Baghdasaryan, the chairman of the 'Orinats Yere' party, claiming he is joining parties demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister, is false. Vahe Torosyan, the spokesperson for OEK, stated in an interview with Armenpress, 'There is no such position; this is false information. No decision has been made regarding a return to politics.'
The email statement sent from [email protected] also mentioned that Baghdasaryan had met with the leader of the 'Hayrenik' party, Arthur Vanetsyan. Arsen Babayan, a representative of the party, stated, 'Arthur Vanetsyan has never met with Arthur Baghdasaryan, and nothing has ever been discussed. The information reported in media sources is false, suggesting that Arthur Baghdasaryan met with Arthur Vanetsyan to discuss certain issues. I officially declare that Arthur Vanetsyan and Arthur Baghdasaryan are not personally acquainted; they have never met.'
On December 2, an announcement was circulated via [email protected] stating that OEK chairman Arthur Baghdasaryan had met with Arthur Vanetsyan of the 'Hayrenik' party to discuss possible formats of collaboration.
