Galoyan on Pashinyan's 'The Government Is Me' Statement

We, the members of the government, are government members, and the Prime Minister is the Prime Minister and leads the government. This was stated by Justice Minister Surbhi Galoyan during a conversation with journalists regarding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's declaration that 'the government is me.'

'The constitutional status of government members and the leader is, in fact, clear, so do not engage in manipulations regarding that,' Galoyan told reporters.

When asked about Pashinyan's explicit statement that 'the government is me,' Galoyan noted, 'I am also part of the government, in a sense; there's metaphor in it because I am a government member, and there are other ministers as well. Legally, yes, we are all a government.'

Galoyan stated that the Prime Minister did not directly say that his word is predominant and that no one has the right to oppose him. 'I am a member of the government; we have a political team that came to power. Our words, thoughts, and actions should be one, and what the Prime Minister said is about that,' she added.
