US Calls on Turkey to Cease Support for Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict
Turkey has expressed its support for Azerbaijan in the conflict with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh, and Washington is urging Turkey not to do so.
According to TASS, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo conveyed this position during a telephone briefing on Wednesday.
“We see that Turkey has started to provide support to Azerbaijan. We have reached out to all international players regarding not to interfere in the situation prevailing in the region,” said Pompeo.
