Rescuers Locate Lost Members of Hiking Group
On August 30, at 7:44 PM, the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Service received a call reporting that members of a hiking group were unable to descend from Mount Ara towards the village ofzoravan; rescue assistance was needed.
An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers successfully evacuated the members of the hiking group and transported them by rescue vehicle to the village of Zoravan, where their relatives awaited them.
