Ukrainian Drones Shot Down in Several Regions of Russia

The air defense forces shot down 102 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions during the night. This information was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It was noted that 22 drones were shot down over the Black Sea, 21 each in the Rostov and Samara regions, 18 in the Krasnodar region, 11 in the Crimean peninsula, three each in the Voronezh and Saratov regions, two in the Volgograd region, and one in the sky over the Sea of Azov.

Additionally, Ukraine has confirmed attacks on Russian oil refining plants. Oil refining in Russia decreased by 21% in just two weeks of August, and the fuel production in Russia also dropped by another 4.7% last night.

The Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara region has an annual capacity of 7 million tons (2.5% of the total volume), while the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region has a capacity of 6.25 million tons (2.2% of the total volume).
