Attempted Attack: Ukrainian Drone Shot Down Near Moscow

The Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, announced that a hostile drone was destroyed on Friday night, with no damage or injuries reported.

“There was an attempted attack by a hostile drone, which was intercepted by the forces of the Ministry of Defense. There are no casualties or damages,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

In a statement, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted that the targets of the Ukrainian drone were objects in the Moscow region. “The drone was destroyed by air defense systems,” the ministry reported.
