Turkey's Foreign Ministry Responds to Netanyahu's Statement on Armenian Genocide Recognition

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statement regarding the Armenian Genocide. In Ankara, the events of 1915 are referred to as "the events of 1915," emphasizing that Netanyahu's statements "do not align with historical and legal facts."

The Foreign Ministry's statement indicated that Netanyahu's words constitute an "attempt to exploit the tragic events of the past for political purposes." It also pointed out that the Israeli Prime Minister himself faces accountability for his role in the genocide against the Palestinian people and is attempting to cover up the crimes committed by himself and his government.
