What Europe Can Offer Trump for Peace in Ukraine
The desire of US President Donald Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize could be utilized by European leaders as a tool to influence his stance on the resolution of the Ukraine conflict. This was reported by The Economist magazine.
It is noted that while direct influence on the Norwegian Nobel Committee is practically impossible, the procedure for nominating the American leader could become a diplomatic gesture that might improve relations with the head of the White House.
Trump has mentioned his influence on the resolution of six international conflicts: between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, India and Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Thailand and Cambodia, Iran and Israel, as well as Egypt and Ethiopia.
