Tsunami Threat in America
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued a tsunami warning following an earthquake in the Drake Passage of the Atlantic Ocean. This has been reported on the agency's website.
According to seismologists, the epicenter was located 957 km southeast of Punta Arenas, a city with a population of 117,000. The epicenter was at a depth of 11 km.
Additionally, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre has reported an earthquake in the Drake Passage with a magnitude of 7.5.
