Husband Sets 46-Year-Old Wife and 14-Year-Old Daughter on Fire in Armenian Province

An extraordinary incident occurred in one of Armenia's provinces. Around 10:30 PM, operational information was received at the territorial department of the police community in the provincial police department that a husband, 51-year-old David A., poured gasoline over his 46-year-old wife and 14-year-old child and set them on fire.

According to Shamshyan.com, community police officers and one firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. Before the firefighters arrived, citizens managed to extinguish the fire with their own efforts.

At the scene, police determined that the woman had been transferred to one of the hospitals operating in the province, while doctors provided necessary medical assistance to the girl on-site. The father, who was found in a difficult condition, was taken to the police station.

Documents related to the incident were prepared at the territorial police department and handed over to the investigative division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia in the province. Due to the interests of the investigation, certain circumstances are not disclosed. However, it is possible that if the neighbors had not rushed to help quickly, the house could have burned down completely, putting the woman and child in a more serious condition.
