Trump Surprised Me, He Played His Role Well, Lukashenko

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has done a good job as a mediator in the Ukrainian conflict. This opinion was expressed by Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko while commenting on the results of the summit held in Alaska, according to BelTA.

“Trump surprised me. He played his role well, contrary to all expectations,” said Lukashenko.

The Belarusian leader also believes that the view suggesting Trump lost in negotiations with Putin is absolutely wrong. Lukashenko expressed that no specific agreements could be reached at this meeting, as the conflicting parties did not meet. He stated that Trump played the role of a mediator in this process, who needed to understand Russia's position.
