Ukraine Terminates Agreement with Iran

The Ukrainian government has terminated the memorandum regarding visa-free visits for citizens with diplomatic and service passports with Iran. This was announced by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.
In November 2024, Ukraine also suspended the operation of the air communication agreement signed with Tehran in 1993.
Additionally, Kyiv accuses Iran of assisting Russia in its war against Ukraine.
