We Will Leave That Question to Me and Putin: Ukraine's President
After negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his willingness to hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which he plans to raise the issue of territories, TASS reports.
“I confirmed, and all the leaders supported me, that we are ready for a bilateral meeting with Putin,” Zelensky stated during a press briefing at the White House, adding that he later hopes for a trilateral meeting with Trump.
The President of Ukraine specifically intends to bring up the issue of territories during the bilateral meeting. “We will leave that question to me and Putin,” he said.
U.S. President Donald Trump also announced that he has begun preparations for the meeting between Putin and Zelensky.
