Aliyev on the Imminent Conclusion of the Peace Process
The process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan is nearly completed, and the signed documents fully align with Baku's interests. This statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Nagorno-Karabakh. He emphasized that Baku has achieved all its objectives.
According to the Azerbaijani president, the OSCE Minsk Group, which he again accused of inaction, is "living its last days."
“We have achieved what we wanted. The hated Minsk Group is living its final days. In fact, it has shown no activity and could not. However, it legally existed; now its end is near,” stated Aliyev.
He also announced that the railway in Nakhchivan will be completely modernized, and, according to him, new routes are planned to be constructed within Armenia. “Yerevan has to commit, and this is yet another historic victory for Azerbaijan,” declared Aliyev.
