Poland is Not Discussing Sending Troops to Ukraine
Poland is not considering sending its troops to Ukraine due to concerns over the weakening of its own defensive capabilities, reports Politico, citing a Polish official.
Poland, which currently has the largest armed forces in the EU, rules out deploying troops to Ukraine but states that it will provide logistical support for any missions conducted to the east.
The Polish official emphasized that Warsaw is facing a "strategic dilemma" due to its proximity to Russia and Belarus. Moscow has repeatedly declared that it does not pose a threat to other countries, but has the right to respond to actions threatening its interests.
A representative of the Polish authorities noted that in such a situation, the country cannot weaken its forces, which are necessary for repelling a possible attack.
