U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the preliminary signing of a peace agreement mediated by him on his Truth Social page, praising the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"It is a great honor for me to be alongside Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev as we signed the peace agreement after decades of war and death. They are both wonderful people and great leaders. Now they are my good friends," President Trump wrote.
