A Citizen Trapped Between Buses

Today, an emergency incident occurred on Tigran Mets Avenue in Yerevan. A citizen was trapped between two "Zhongtong" brand buses serving line number 7, which is registered to the Yerevan City Hall.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the citizen found himself between the two buses due to a traffic accident. Paramedics provided first aid on the scene before transporting him to the hospital in extremely serious condition.

Gegham Asatryan, the press secretary of Yerevan Bus LLC, made a post regarding the incident on his Facebook page. He wrote, "Today, around 4:45 PM at the terminus of line number 7 on Tigran Mets Avenue, one of the drivers accidentally failed to engage the handbrake, causing the vehicle to collide with the other parked vehicle. The driver attempted to stop the vehicle's movement and, during this process, became trapped between the two vehicles. With the help of bystanders and the other vehicle's driver, he was extracted and transported by ambulance to one of the medical centers. The driver sustained fractures, but his life is not in danger at this time."
