Woman and Husband Suffocate Mother with Pillow in Syunik, Bury Her Four Days Later: Revelation

On July 21, the Main Department of Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the regional department of criminal police in Syunik revealed a crime. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, operational data were received at the regional criminal department of Syunik that a 59-year-old man living in one of the provinces of Armenia, along with his 35-year-old wife, committed this horrific act in November 2014.

The 76-year-old resident of Artsakh, who had health issues and a disability status, was suffocated with a pillow by the couple with the aim of being freed from the obligation of taking care of him. They then buried the body in a field near the village four days later.
