Forest Fire Approaches Residential Areas in Turkey

A fire has broken out in an open area in front of the Çanakkale Airport in Turkey. The forest fire is approaching residential neighborhoods.

According to Report, referencing TRT Haber, Turkey's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure announced the temporary suspension of airport operations due to the incident.

Currently, efforts are underway to extinguish the fire from both land and air. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
