The Armenia-Azerbaijan Conflict as a Tool for Achieving the Nobel Prize: Ashotyan
It is evident that for the U.S. President, the resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, even in a 'Trumpian' manner, has transformed into a tool for gathering bonuses for the Nobel Prize. This was stated by the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, during a press conference.
"I have two concerns. One is geopolitical, because the potential emergence of such a transaction under the auspices of a power that does not have a natural geopolitical presence in the region will be problematic for Armenia’s external and security environments," he noted.
Ashotyan also mentioned that Prime Minister Pashinyan’s envoys had long boasted about not needing any intermediaries, asserting that they were negotiating well with Azerbaijan.
