Accident with Fire Eruption: Driver Hospitalized

On August 4, at 07:09 AM, the crisis management center of the Emergency Situations Rescue Service in Vayots Dzor received a report about a traffic accident in the area known as "Zanger," where a fire had erupted in one of the vehicles, resulting in injuries.

A firefighting and rescue unit was dispatched from the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the scene. It was discovered that at kilometer 168 of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, a collision occurred between a "Kia" and a "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle, which led to a fire breaking out in the latter.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of the "Mercedes-Benz" was hospitalized. The fire was contained at 08:13 and extinguished by 08:22. The "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle was completely burned. Rescuers also secured the power supply of the "Kia" vehicle.
