Fire at Ashtarak Kindergarten, Staff and Children Evacuated

On August 5, an emergency incident occurred in the Aragatsotn Province. At approximately 10:40, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received an alert about smoke coming from one of the kindergartens in Ashtarak city.

According to Shamshyan.com, it was determined at the scene that the fire broke out at the No. 2 "Arevik" nursery kindergarten in Ashtarak. It has been reported that there were no casualties. The staff and children of the kindergarten were evacuated in time. It was found that the fire originated from the kitchen.
