When Our Value System Is Distorted, Shrines Become Sanctuaries of Salvation: Karekin II

“Dear believers, in our times, when our value system is distorted by false ideas, such ecclesiastical buildings and shrines, with their religious and ritual significance, are sanctuaries that support faith, provide salvation for the soul, and strengthen a life pleasing to God,” stated His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, during the opening of a prayer hall on the Feast of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ.

“Meeting with believers in such a blessed place is a journey towards eternity,” the Catholicos added.
