Different Price on Tags and Checkout at Yerevan City Supermarket

A user on Mikayel Margaryan’s Facebook page shared photos from the Yerevan City Supermarket, stating, "The disarray of Yerevan City Supermarkets is not ending. A juice priced at 200 dram on the tag is charged 300 dram at checkout. They say the price has changed; is it perhaps due to the Lars issue?"

Auroranews contacted Mikayel Margaryan, who confirmed that he purchased a juice from the Yerevan City Supermarket, located near the old closed market, which was marked at 200 dram. However, upon reaching the self-checkout, he discovered that the juice cost 300 dram.

The employees explained, "The price may have changed." The manager of the hall also stated, "It has gone up, but we will provide the product at the price you saw on the label." Mikayel Margaryan told Auroranews that in many purchasing situations, people do not pay attention to prices. In his case, he had a small purchase and noticed the discrepancy. He refused to buy at 200 dram and told the employees, "If I had not noticed, you would have cheated me. How many people have you deceived today? And it’s unclear whether the price has just changed or if this has been the case for days."
