Motion to Arrest Individual Accused of Preparing for the Murder of Aram Sargsyan

A motion has been submitted to the court to arrest an individual accused of preparing for the murder of Aram Sargsyan, the leader of the Republic Party. This was reported to Aurora News by Kim Avdaljan, the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee.

It is noteworthy that the Investigative Committee is conducting proceedings based on Articles 43-155 and 335, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, in which Stepan Samvelyan, a resident of the Ararat region, is accused of preparing for the murder of Aram Sargsyan, as well as for the illegal circulation of firearms, essential components, military ammunition, and other materials, items, and devices.

Currently, the motives behind the alleged criminal act remain unknown to us.
