Automated System for Release of Goods and Vehicles Implemented

Starting from April 2025, an automated system for the release of goods and vehicles will be implemented, following the initial testing phase launched last year. This enhanced system, equipped with improved analytical tools and new streamlined criteria, has significantly improved the share of automated releases due to the expansion of the framework for applying the "Automated Release of Goods and Vehicles" customs control procedure.

The share of inspection cases has reached the 5 percent benchmark set by the World Customs Organization. The automated release system operates within the "green channel" interface, meaning that under the green channel procedure, a model and appropriately completed declaration is selected automatically based on the criteria integrated into the system, allowing for the automatic release of the goods.

Notably, the number of declarations selected for automated release under the "Green Channel" procedure has increased significantly compared to the previous year. If in 2024, a total of 131 goods declarations were automatically released throughout the year, the newly implemented system from April 2025 is expected to process approximately 2,000 goods declarations monthly.
