The Growth of Armenia's Foreign Trade Volume Slowed for Six Months

According to the report by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the volume of Armenia's foreign and mutual trade increased by 41.5% in 2024 compared to 2023, reaching 30,159,088.5 thousand dollars.

It is noteworthy that in the first half of last year, Armenia's foreign trade turnover doubled, growing by 95% in seven months, 79.6% in eight months, 73.5% in nine months, 67.6% in ten months, and 54% in eleven months.

In December 2024, this indicator amounted to 1,888.9 million dollars, a decrease of 37.3% compared to December 2023 and a decrease of 4.4% compared to November 2024.

Within the EAEU, the largest supplier of goods to the global market is Russia, with exports of about 386 billion dollars. It is followed by Kazakhstan (81.6 billion dollars), Armenia (13 billion dollars), Kyrgyzstan (7.3 billion dollars), and Belarus (6.6 billion dollars).
