Rospotrebnadzor Requests Clarifications from Armenia

Rospotrebnadzor has sent an official inquiry to the relevant authorities in Armenia, requesting detailed information regarding the reasons for the temporary ban on the import of ice cream under the "Коровка из Кореновки" brand. This was reported by РИА Новости.

Rospotrebnadzor emphasized that during the monitoring conducted in Russia, there were no recorded cases of the product not meeting the safety and quality requirements, including compliance with the provisions of the Customs Union technical regulations.

They added that they expect the Armenian side to provide results from laboratory studies and other information that will confirm the grounds for imposing temporary restrictions.

It should be noted that, by the decision of the head of the Food Safety Inspection Body, the import of "Eskimo plombir vanilla chocolate creamy ice cream" produced by the Russian company "Fabrika Nastoiaschchego Morozhennogo" (brand: "Коровка") has been temporarily banned in Armenia since July 2, 2025.
