Who Should Demolish This? The Responsibility Lies with the CPP, Thovmasyan to the Chief Prosecutor
Independent MP Taguhi Thovmasyan, during the discussion of the Chief Prosecutor's request to strip the "Armenia" faction's secretary, Artavazd Minasyan, of immunity and initiate criminal prosecution against him, presented a photo. According to her sources, the photo is of the home of Arman Hakobchyan, chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Kapavor Company" LLC and an associate of the ruling Civil Contract Party (CPP).
Thovmasyan questioned the prosecutor as to why he does not consistently provide a legal assessment regarding this matter when it has been raised multiple times and several reports have been submitted in relation to it.
“Perhaps you, most likely, have not received that SMS, and there is no political expediency in punishing the beloved businessman of the CPP. Now you come and say that Artavazd Minasyan did not demolish the area. So, who should demolish it? By the way, at that time, the Minister of Environment was Erik Grigoryan, the governor of Gegharkunik region was Gnel Sanosyan, and the entire responsibility lies with the CPP,” said the MP.
“As for Artavazd Minasyan, during those years, he, as the Minister of Environment, hid certain information within the scope of his authority, including that an existing building was presented as vacant land and supposedly offered for investment. However, that was not an investment but private property,” stated Vardapetyan.
