Protests Held in Support of Samvel Karapetyan

Currently, a protest is taking place in support of Samvel Karapetyan, with a march set to move towards the NSS isolation facility. The rally's slogan is: "Fight-fight #with you." Many clergy members are participating in the protest, including His Eminence Archbishop Yeghishe Nersisyan, the leader of the Armenian Diocese of Russia.

Supporters of the sacred struggle have also joined the rally. We previously reported that it was not a surprise for businessman Samvel Karapetyan’s son that Judge Armen Danielyan has maintained the pre-trial detention measure imposed on Karapetyan. "It was very expected; there was no other option. I don’t know what to say," said Sargis Karapetyan in a conversation with reporters.

A large number of police forces are stationed in the park adjacent to Mashtots Avenue, where the protest is being held. Soon, the march will proceed to the location of Samvel Karapetyan’s detention. It is important to remember that Samvel Karapetyan has been detained for two months.
