With One Hand Grasping the EU and the Other Outstretched to the Shanghai Organization, Decide Already: Sharamazanov

Member of the Republican Party of Armenia’s Board, Eduard Sharamazanov, wrote: “In the morning they are heading to the EU, by noon they want to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in the evening they are looking to the EAEU, and at night they are ‘playing games’ with the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem.

The Nikol regime has announced yet another ‘unprecedented’ news: Armenia has expressed its desire to become a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. This decision would be logical if the ruling party did not vote in the National Assembly in favor of a bill called the ‘desire to join the EU’. With one hand, they want to cling to the EU, while with the other hand, they are reaching towards the Shanghai Organization. Decide already, what vector are you choosing, oh you government officials.

It won’t be long before you express a desire to join the Assembly of Turkic States, and everything will fall into place.”

It should be noted that the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had issued a statement: “Sharing the fundamental principles of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, particularly territorial integrity, non-use of force, and inviolability of borders, the Republic of Armenia has expressed its desire to join the SCO.”
