All Employees of Sputnik Azerbaijan Released

All employees of Sputnik Azerbaijan, who were previously detained in Baku and are Azerbaijani citizens, have been released on bail, reports the Sputnik Middle East Telegram channel.

According to the statement, “All five employees of Sputnik Azerbaijan, who hold citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan, have been released on bail.”

It is recalled that on June 30, Igor Kartavikh, head of the editorial board of Sputnik Azerbaijan, and chief editor Yevgeny Belousov were unjustly arrested in Baku and detained for four months. Along with them, several members of the editorial staff, who are Azerbaijani citizens, were also detained.
