Visa Liberalization Between the EU and Armenia

The dialogue on visa liberalization between the EU and Armenia is currently in an active phase. "This is one of the new areas of cooperation, which is also enshrined in the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed between the EU and Armenia. It is very important that we decided to move in this direction last July. Work is ongoing," stated Vasilis Maraghos, head of the EU delegation during a discussion organized within the framework of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform.

Currently, specific work is being carried out with Armenian authorities to prepare a visa liberalization action plan. This plan is intended to guide sectoral reforms.
