Humanitarian Aid Workers Killed in Gaza
The Gaza humanitarian foundation reports that at least five humanitarian aid workers were killed during an attack on one of their buses, blaming Hamas, which has not commented on the allegations. There are concerns that some workers have been taken captive.
Sources at Al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire again this morning on humanitarian aid seekers near an aid point, resulting in at least 13 deaths and around 200 injuries.
"We condemn this despicable and deliberate attack in the strongest terms. They were aid workers. Humanitarian figures, brothers, sons, and friends who risk their lives every day to help others," the foundation stated.
The Ministry of Health reports that at least 57 humanitarian aid seekers were killed yesterday.
