More than 80 Killed in Gaza in One Day

Today, in various areas of the enclave, a total of 82 Palestinians have been killed as a result of Israeli forces' strikes. This is reported by Al Jazeera.

According to medical sources, Israeli troops opened fire on a crowd of people waiting for food parcels at a humanitarian aid distribution center near the Al-Netsarim settlement, resulting in at least 25 Palestinian deaths. The director of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital announced that eight Palestinians were killed following an Israeli airstrike on one of the houses in Deir al-Balah.

It is noteworthy that earlier this morning, Israeli forces targeted people gathered on Salah al-Din Street waiting for humanitarian aid, leading to the death of four Palestinians and injuries to more than 90 others. The remaining casualties were recorded in other parts of the enclave.

On the other hand, during a large-scale attack by Israel on the city of Nablus in the West Bank, two Palestinians were killed and another 82 were wounded. It should be emphasized that Israel had launched military operations in the Gaza Strip in response to the incursion of armed militants from the Palestinian Hamas movement, which resulted in nearly 1,200 deaths and around 250 people taken captive.
