Russia is Giving the Finger to the Whole World, Says Zelensky

In response to attempts at peaceful resolution in Ukraine, the Russian authorities are showing disdain to the entire world and 'giving the finger.' This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.

'Many have spoken with Russia at various levels. No conversation has led to not only a reliable peace but also an end to the war. Unfortunately, Putin feels impunity, and even after all the horrific strikes from Russia, he allegedly prepares for a few more responses. With each new strike and every diplomatic setback, Russia is giving the finger to the whole world — to all those who do not wish to increase pressure on Russia,' Zelensky added.

He called for increased pressure on Moscow so that it 'feels that the war has its price.'
